Maori tribal tattoo on back and shoulder
This guy’s tribal tattoo is inspired by the Maori people of New Zealand, and is inked in a traditional tribal tattoo design for men. The tat covers a large portion of this guy’s back, and extends onto his right shoulder and all the way down his right arm. Although most of the tribal tattoo is inked in black and white, there is some red in the arm sleeve. The tribal tat is an interesting design and really accentuates the guy’s muscular arms and back.
Historically, tattooing came to New Zealand from Eastern Polynesian culture, in which bone chisels were used for tattooing the heads and bodies of men as a method of depicting social status. Because of the long and illustrious history of tattooing, many men choose to get tribal tattoos inked on their bodies as a celebration of their heritage or simply because they are very interesting tattoo designs.
