Maori tribal pattern full sleeve tattoo

Maori tribal pattern full sleeve tattoo
Maori tribal tattoos are super cool and they are usually pretty unique to the wearer. This guy’s full sleeve tattoo incorporates a Maori tribal design, beginning on his left forearm just above his wrist and extending up his arm, onto his shoulder and even onto the left part of his chest. The sleeve tattoo art includes a variety of geometrical designs that are typical to Maori tattoos, including different-sized triangles near the bottom of the tat, some swirly designs on the upper part of his left arm and squares on the top of his shoulder. One of the most significant designs in the full sleeve tattoo is the large sun design on his chest, which includes a face with its tongue sticking out and some cool lightning bolts and wave patterns. Maori tattoos originate from New Zealand, and tribesmen traditionally got the ink as a mark of strength and status.
